Paramount Games Sets an SDCC 2026 Panel for the PlatinumGames The Last Ronin Video Game

Paramount Games has laid out its San Diego Comic-Con 2026 plans, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game is part of the schedule. The publisher’s July 17 itinerary confirms a dedicated panel, “TMNT: Shellebrating 300 Issues of Turtle Power & The Last Ronin,” set for Friday, July 24 from 10 to 11 AM PT in Room 25ABC. Alongside the comic creators marking the 300th issue of IDW’s flagship series, Shawn Kittelsen, SVP and Head of Creative and Production at Paramount Games Studio, will give an inside look at how the Last Ronin video game is being built in partnership with developer PlatinumGames.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is a AAA action-adventure game published by Paramount Games Studio for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It was revealed with its first trailer at Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026, when Paramount confirmed PlatinumGames, the studio behind Bayonetta, NieR: Automata and 2016’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, as developer. The game adapts the 2020 IDW miniseries The Last Ronin, following the lone surviving Turtle on a mission of vengeance in a Foot-Clan-ruled New York. No release date has been announced.

The Comic-Con panel doubles as an IDW milestone event, celebrating the recent 300th issue of the main TMNT comic. Confirmed panelists include Last Ronin co-writer Tom Waltz along with comic creatives Gene Luen Yang, Andrew Joustra, Sarah Myer and Jake Thomas, with Kittelsen representing the game side.

For collectors on the show floor, Paramount Games also confirmed a TMNT: The Last Ronin - Training Day signing at the IDW Booth #2729 on Friday, July 24 from 5 to 6 PM, with Attack Peter, the Escorza Bros, Tom Waltz, Luis Delgado, Ben Bishop and Shawn Kittelsen. A limited-edition BossLogic x TMNT: The Last Ronin hat will be sold as an SDCC exclusive at the Nickelodeon Booth #4113. The game sits inside the wider Paramount TMNT slate that also includes the Mutant Mayhem 2 film due August 13, 2027.

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 runs July 22 to 26 at the San Diego Convention Center.
