NYCC 2026 for Ninja Turtles fans: the IDW panel, the schedule and every reveal as it lands

IDW Publishing’s panel is the only item on the New York Comic Con 2026 schedule that we found naming the Turtles: Friday, October 9, from 11:15 am to noon Eastern, in North Room 406.2 at the Javits Center. The show itself runs Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11. We will add announcements to the log at the bottom as they happen.

When is the IDW panel at NYCC 2026?

The panel is called “IDW Publishing: You’ll Want to Be in This Room,” and it is on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm in North Room 406.2.

NYCC’s listing names five panelists: Christopher Cantwell, Patrick Horvath, Matthew Rosenberg, Mariko Tamaki and Stan Sakai. Rosenberg is the Turtles name on the panel. He writes IDW’s main Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series from issue #25 [1], which arrives in the new year. The listing says IDW had a strong year, lists the Turtles among its franchises, and promises news that “will have everyone talking.”

What will IDW reveal for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at NYCC 2026?

The NYCC listing does not say. It does not name a title, a creator or a format.

Rosenberg’s run and The Last Ronin III: Return for New York were both announced at San Diego in July, and we covered them then, so neither is Friday’s news. Whatever IDW announces will go into the log at the bottom of this page the day it happens.

What else is on the Ninja Turtles schedule at NYCC 2026?

Two things so far: the IDW panel, and a Turtles photo op at Nickelodeon’s booth on the show floor.

The Nickelodeon booth is a multi-brand space: SpongeBob and Avatar share it, and Nickelodeon’s announcement describes the Turtles part only as a photo op [2].

Can you buy Ninja Turtles exclusives at NYCC 2026?

We have not confirmed a Ninja Turtles convention exclusive for the show floor. If a maker or publisher lists one, we will check the listing ourselves before it goes on this page.

Who makes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and toys in 2026?

IDW Publishing publishes the Turtles comics and is at booth 4551. Mezco Toyz is at booth 1253, Nickelodeon is at booth 1523 and Paramount+ is at booth 1723. On toys, Playmates Toys has held the master license since 1988, and it ends on December 31, 2026. Mattel announced a multi-year global TMNT license on February 10, 2026, with products starting in 2027.

The show has not started, so nothing has been announced. The only NYCC story on our site at the moment is Mezco’s, and it covers a set that is not sold at the show.
