IDW's NYCC 2026 Panel Is Friday at 11:15 AM in North Room 406.2, and the Turtles Are on the Bill
IDW Publishing’s panel at New York Comic Con is called “IDW Publishing: You’ll Want to Be in This Room,” and it is on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern in North Room 406.2 at the Javits Center. IDW’s booth on the floor is 4551.
NYCC’s listing names five panelists: Christopher Cantwell, Patrick Horvath, Matthew Rosenberg, Mariko Tamaki and Stan Sakai. Rosenberg is the Turtles name on that list, since he writes IDW’s main Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series from issue #25, which arrives in the new year. The listing says IDW had a strong year, names the Turtles among its franchises and promises news that “will have everyone talking.”

What will IDW announce for the Turtles at NYCC 2026?
The listing does not say. It names no title, creator or format, so we will find out on Friday.
What IDW has said elsewhere points at the week rather than the room. On October 5 it confirmed IDW Goes Dark, a line of horror comics running through 2027 that includes the Turtles alongside Sonic the Hedgehog, Hello Kitty, Godzilla and Star Trek, and it said it has at least one announcement for every weekday of show week. No Turtles title, creative team or month has been named, and our IDW Goes Dark story has what is known, including the logo that is already on a cover of TMNT 23.
Rosenberg’s run and The Last Ronin III were both announced at San Diego in July, so neither is Friday’s news. We covered them then, in Rosenberg on IDW’s TMNT #25 and The Last Ronin III and TMNT #25.
Where to follow it
The panel and everything else we are tracking for the Turtles at the show are on the NYCC 2026 hub, including Mezco’s booth and the Nickelodeon photo op. Whatever IDW announces on Friday goes into the hub’s reveals log the same day, with its source.
