Super7's first ReAction+ Turtles wave is out of preorder and shipping
Super7’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction+ Wave 01 has spent its whole life so far as a preorder. It is not one any more. Toy Habits flagged the change on August 19, and Super7’s own store confirms it this morning: all four figures and the four figure set carry a plain add to cart control, with no preorder badge and no arrival estimate anywhere on the listing.
The wave is Raphael, Donatello, Shredder and a Foot Ninja. Twenty five dollars each, one hundred dollars for all four, which is exactly four times the single price with no set discount, so buy them however you like.
What ReAction+ actually is
Super7 lists its standard TMNT ReAction figures at 3.75 inch scale and describes them simply as articulated. ReAction+ is the step up: four inch scale, nine points of articulation, and a classic O-ring waist, which is the bit that matters. The O-ring is what gives these the swivel and the torso rotation a straight vintage-style figure never had, and it is the reason the line reads as a 1980s toy that can actually hold a pose.
Super7’s listings put all four figures at that same spec, and all four are drawn from the 1987 animated series rather than the Mirage comics or any of the modern designs. Accessories, straight off the product pages:
- Raphael comes with a removable shell and two sai
- Donatello comes with a removable shell and a bow staff
- Shredder comes with a katana and a fabric cape
- The Foot Ninja comes with a katana and a punch dagger
Two shells and two swords is a modest count, and it is worth saying plainly that this is not the accessory-loaded ULTIMATES treatment at a third of the price. It is a different product doing a different job.
The Foot Ninja is the reason to look twice
Putting a generic Foot Clan grunt in the first wave, at the same price as a named character, is the single best decision on this list.

The Foot Ninja, carded. The yellow tray is the only warm colour on an otherwise purple and black figure. Product photography: Super7.
The figure is purple and black with silver forearm armour, a red foot symbol on the forehead and the narrow yellow eyes the cartoon used. It is an army builder that costs the same as a hero, and unlike a lot of army builders it is not gated behind a multipack or an exclusive. If you have ever wanted a shelf of them behind Shredder, the only thing stopping you is the order quantity dropdown.
The card art is doing the heavy lifting

Wave 01 carded. Each blister tray is coloured to its character. Product photography: Super7.
Each card carries a painted illustration of its own character against the green burst the 1987 packaging used, with the tray colour matched to the figure: red for Raphael, purple for Donatello, yellow for the Foot Ninja, grey for Shredder. The ReAction+ wordmark sits bottom left and the age grading reads 14 and up, which tells you where Super7 thinks these are going.
If you keep things carded, that consistency across the wave is the argument for buying the set rather than picking two. If you open them, it is irrelevant and you should buy the Foot Ninjas.
Where they are, and what BigBadToyStore is doing
Super7 has all four in stock and shipping direct at twenty five dollars a figure.
BigBadToyStore has the wave too, but it is a different state: all four singles are listed at $24.99 as preorders, estimated to arrive August 2026, with no payment due until they ship. That is normal for a Super7 direct launch reaching collector retailers a beat behind, and it means BBTS is the right call only if you would rather consolidate into a Pile of Loot shipment than pay Super7 for a box today. The BBTS listings are Raphael, Donatello, Shredder and the Foot Ninja.
One more thing worth knowing if you are pricing this against the rest of the shelf. Super7’s TMNT ULTIMATES figures are sixty five dollars each and the Wave 12 and Wave 13 sets run two hundred and twenty and two hundred and sixty. ReAction+ is not competing with those, and if you have been putting off the line on cost, this is the cheap door into it. Our reference shelf coverage is the other end of the same hobby.
