NECA Reveals SDCC 2026 Exclusive: TMNT 2012 Sketch Turtles 4-Pack

NECA has revealed its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles convention exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con 2026: a 7-inch scale Sketch Turtles 4-pack based on Nickelodeon’s 2012 animated series. The set gives Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo an all black-and-white line-art deco, styled to look like the show’s production sketches. It is listed on the NECA store at 150 dollars and is expected to ship in Q3 2026, after the convention wraps.

The Sketch Turtles finish is the hook here: rather than the full-color cartoon deco, the four figures wear a monochrome line-art paint job that reads like an animator’s model sheet come to life. It follows NECA’s pattern of using cons to release stylized variants of lines it already produces, in this case the studio’s existing 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range. The 2012 series ran on Nickelodeon from 2012 to 2017 and reimagined the four brothers for a new generation; you can read up on the characters on our Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo pages.

Loaded with accessories

NECA is packing the set with episode-specific gear. Per the store listing, the four figures include interchangeable heads and hands plus their signature weapons: Leonardo’s katanas, Donatello’s bo staff, Michelangelo’s nunchucks and kusarigama, and Raphael’s sai. Beyond the weapons, the pack throws in the Microfission Omni-Disintegrator, Turtle Comms, a tracking device, a spy bug, goggles, pizza slices, smoke bombs, and character companions Dr. Cluckingsworth M.D., Chompy Picasso and fan-favorite Ice Cream Kitty.

The set also carries bonus accessories built to work with NECA’s separately sold TMNT 2012 Ultimate figures, including an all-new Mutagen canister, Mutagen elixir, a skateboard, a weapon wrap, a popcorn snack and grapnel launchers.

How to get it

As a convention exclusive, the 4-pack is tied to NECA’s SDCC 2026 presence. San Diego Comic-Con runs July 22 to 26, and NECA has listed the set to begin shipping in Q3 2026 once the show concludes. Convention exclusives typically sell at the NECA booth during the con and through a limited online window afterward.

The reveal lands during a busy stretch for NECA’s Turtles output, which spans the 2012 line, the Mirage Comics series and the studio’s Last Ronin figures. It also arrives against the backdrop of a shifting license landscape: Playmates hands its master TMNT toy license to Mattel at the start of 2027, and the futures of the various specialty lines are being watched closely by collectors.
